Towcester Leisure Centre iCan Get Up & Go Classes
Towcester Leisure Centre iCan Get Up & Go Classes is a 24-week based Get Up and Go (Steady Steps) programme that is referred via a GP/ Health Professional/Age Well Support Worker. This is a free-of-charge group activity. It runs within Towcester Leisure Centre on a Tuesday from 10.30 until 11.30, plus from 11.30 until 12.30 there is sometimes a guest speaker who has an input. There is always coffee and a catch up, too. So, a real social aspect after the exercise. The team have come to realise that the social aspect of the group is actually as important as the exercise class itself.
